Orlando Bloom skips Global Green party for performance with Condola Rashad

Orlando Bloom and Condola Rashad as Romeo and Juliet.

Where WAS Romeo?

Orlando Bloom snubbed the 11th annual Global Green pre-Oscar party Wednesday night in Hollywood choosing instead to perform with his “Romeo and Juliet” co-star, and rumored love interest, Condola Rashad, not far from the fund-raiser.

Bloom attended the Global Green event last year with Miranda Kerr; the two announced in October that they were divorcing. He was expected by organizers at this year’s event, but instead was onstage at the L.A. Philharmonic’s Shakespeare-themed TchaikovskyFest concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall.

There has been speculation since the “Hobbit” star split from the former Victoria’s Secret Angel that his professional chemistry with the beautiful Rashad, who played Juliet opposite Bloom on Broadway, may have blossomed into something more offstage.

In December, Bloom, 37, skipped the “Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” premiere after-party to attend Rashad’s 27th-birthday celebration in NYC. Last year, he gushed about the actress on “Live with Kelly and Michael,” saying: “We sometimes get applause after our first kiss because it just goes on. Sometimes I’m like, I’m not letting go.’ ”

Although Bloom was MIA from the party, other stars did make it to Global Green’s signature event and were treated to Moby giving his only live band performance of 2014.

Among them was Billy Zane, who had several femmes fatales vying for his attention as he danced along to Moby’s set, which included the hits “Extreme Ways,” “Run On” and “In My Heart.”

The influential singer-songwriter and DJ — who has been a vegan for 26 years — told Confidenti@l he’s happy the music business has unintentionally gone green.

“The nice thing is no one buys records anymore. So accidentally, every musician is an environmentalist,” he said. “In the old days, when you sold 10 million CDs it was like environmental genocide. Now people just download things, and that is about as environmentally responsible as you can get, because no one is making CDs.”

The zero-waste bash, which also celebrated Global Green’s 20th anniversary, raised more than $20,000 during a live auction. Among the items sold was a Gemesis three-stone, conflict-free, lab-grown diamond ring, modeled by musician Michelle Branch. It fetched a whopping $12,000.

Also at the star-studded event were Malin Akerman, Maggie Grace, Jane Seymour, Ed Begley Jr., Joan Rivers, Luke Perry, Eliza Coupe, Matt Walsh, Vanessa Marano, rising star Mike Manning and, fittingly for an environmental group’s party, Ashley Greene.

A rep for Bloom never got back to us.

Ronan Farrow with his Reach the World award.

RONAN GREETS THE PRESS

After a day of warding off rumors that his team was trying to “protect” him from discussing Woody Allen at Wednesday’s Reach the World benefit, Ronan Farrow graciously thanked reporters backstage who’ve covered the sex scandal involving his famous filmmaking father.

“When I choose to go out and do a substantive event, I like to make sure that the substance of something like education for disadvantaged youth is front and center,” Farrow said after receiving the nonprofit’s Cronkite Award.

But he also said he understood the “fascination” with his family: “I totally get the ways in which it’s a juicy story, and I think I’ve proven myself, over the years, totally game to answer questions of all types.”

It was reported Wednesday morning that Farrow’s “team” had ordered reporters not to ask him about Allen’s alleged sexual misconduct with then-7-year- old Dylan Farrow. Farrow’s reps quickly responded by sending Confidenti@l and other media outlets a one-sentence press release saying Farrow was up for anything. Event organizers told Confidenti@l that they — not Farrow — had sent out letters asking journalists to focus on their event rather than Farrow’s personal life.

AN OUTFIT WITH SOMETHING ‘EXTRA’
When in Vegas, do as the showgirls do. “Extra” host Maria Menounos celebrated the entertainment show’s partnership with Caesars and Starwood Preferred Guests by donning a sky-high headpiece and jewel-encrusted bra, blending in with the other bedazzled entertainers on the Strip. Unhappy landing: Amanda Seyfried.

AN AIRLINE’S LAX SERVICE?
“Lovelace” actress Amanda Seyfried didn’t love landing at LAX on Wednesday. “How the f— did you know I’d be on this flight?” she asked fans and photogs waiting there. “I hate American Airlines!” she said. “They always tip people off on where celebrities are going to be. ... Their customer service is so poor. They don’t even have a greeter for me.” She later tweeted, “Which airline hires sweaty robot photographers to stalk their passengers? #businessasusual.’ ”
An airline rep says: “As a rule, our employees are not allowed to share any passenger information.”

Gerard Butler had a happy meal at a West Hollywood club.

THE LAP OF LUXURY
“Olympus Has Fallen” star Gerard Butler took refuge from L.A.’s rain Wednesday at Soho House in West Hollywood. Confidenti@l spied the Scottish actor, who was accompanied by fashion designer Ozwald Boateng and director Jeymes Samuel, sitting on a girl’s lap at the exclusive club and eating dinner with his hands. Also there were “Dancing With the Stars” brothers Maksim and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, who hosted a big table of girls, with Maksim paying the most attention to a beautiful not-Kate Upton blond sitting next to him.
